Dear beautiful you..
Welcome, April. Does anybody else feel like it is the beginning of a beautiful New Year? Spring really is nature's New Year and I truly believe that we are not separate from nature, the spring brings hope and renewal, more energy - the smells of Spring soothes my soul so... How does Spring make you feel?
What a time to be alive.
How alive are you?
Are you excited when you wake up in the morning?
Do you put your head down at night thinking and feeling like you gave this precious day your best?
Do you see where you didn’t do so well—and with grace and compassion—understand that here is where your work lies?
The world is waking up—buds unfurling, birdsong growing stronger, the sun lingering a little longer in the sky. Spring always feels like the true new year, a season of balance, renewal, and quiet transformation. We shake off the heaviness of winter and step into the light, a little braver, a little more open.
March was a beautiful month, On March 23rd, I held a beautiful Spring Equinox workshop, where we welcomed this moment of perfect balance—the pause before the great unfurling. It was a reminder that just as nature moves through cycles, so do we. We, too, are blossoming in our own time. My beautiful friend Nicky Hand held a lovely sound bath for us and another friend bought forgaged goodies for us to share - everyone left with a goodie bag of Spring gifts - the photo above shows the abundance of the Season.
Then to round March up on Monday morning, I held my first Sunrise Pop-Up Yoga Session—and what a sunrise it was. We thought the sun would rise behind the cliff, but it surprised us, rising right in front of us, flooding us with golden light. A perfect moment, a perfect beginning....The sunrise actually brought tears to my eyes as it was more perfect than perfect could be
Now, I’m teaching away at a retreat, immersing myself in the very practice I love to share. I’ll be away from April 5th to April 22nd, returning on April 23rd, ready to step into the next season with you all.
In the coming weeks, I’ll be announcing my Spring-Summer timetable, and I couldn’t be more excited because all classes will be moving outdoors—weather permitting—so we can practice under the wide-open sky, feeling the earth beneath us and the fresh air filling our lungs.
There is something profoundly healing about practicing yoga in nature. Research shows that spending time outdoors lowers stress, reduces anxiety, and nourishes the nervous system. When we practice outside, we attune to the rhythms of the natural world—the rustling leaves, the warmth of the sun, the rhythm of the waves or birdsong. It reminds us that we, too, are part of nature.
Devon offers the most breathtaking landscapes, and I invite you to come and experience yoga in a way that is both grounding and expansive. Whether by the ocean, on soft grass, or with the sky stretching endlessly above us, these sessions will be a chance to connect—to yourself, to the earth, and to the simple joy of moving and breathing in the great outdoors.
On Thursday, May 1st, I’ll be holding a special Sunrise Yoga Session at 5:45 AM to welcome in Beltane—a sacred time of fire, fertility, and the full blossoming of life. Beltane marks the height of spring, a moment when the earth is bursting with energy, passion, and creation. It is a time to celebrate the warmth returning, the days growing longer, and the sheer joy of being alive.
We’ll gather in the quiet of the early morning, moving through a nourishing, heart-opening practice as we watch the sun rise at 5:49 AM, filling the sky with golden light. There is something truly magical about welcoming the day in this way—breathing with the rhythm of nature, feeling the earth beneath us, and honoring the turning of the wheel. It will be an incredible morning, and I would love for you to join me in this powerful moment of connection and renewal.
Book your spot on my website. Meet at the huts past the cafe.
I am endlessly grateful for this path. For the chance to share yoga, to witness its quiet magic in your lives, to feel its medicine working through my own. This practice is breath, movement, stillness, and awakening all at once.
I am deeply grateful for your support and for the opportunity to share yoga with you over the years. This practice has been my passion, my refuge, and my greatest teacher, and being able to hold space for you—to guide, to witness, and to grow alongside you—means more to me than words can express. Your presence, your trust, and the way you show up, not just on the mat but in your lives, inspire me every day. Thank you for being part of this journey, for allowing me to do what I love, and for making this community so special. It is an honor to share this path with you.
I can’t wait to welcome you back soon.
Let us live like flowers—wild, beautiful, and drenched in sun....
