Dear yogis
October is here, another month arrives. How are you in this moment? How do you FEEL? When I send out these love letters to you itâs an opportunity for me to look at the previous month and to see how it made me FEEL? So as Autumn arrives, I take the time to feel into how I want to move into this season with intention  and after the whirling energy of summer and being so busy my being wants to slow down.
I have a new Autumn schedule where  i offer 3 classes a week - Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays.  Each week I theme my classes to follow the wheel of life.  I really hope I get to see you on the mat through the darker days where we create our own in a light. (timetable above) and if you come to my Sunday class, you can use the facilities for half price and have a lovely sauna, swim, steam and Jacuzzi. What a wonderful way to begin your Sundays. My online class on Wednesday is restorative and gentle and nourishing and it's a beautiful way to meet your Wednesdays. The feedback is always that it is deeply needed and it's one of my favourite classes that I share. Please do come along and nurture your mind body and spirit. To practice in the comfort of your own home with beautiful blankets and cushions and pillows where you can just be is the perfect stressfree way of practising.
So what does October have in store for me ...next week I am attending a three day nature course to hold ceremony in nature as you know I love celebrating the turning of the wheel and being in nature - a perfect combination.  As I hit my crone years - I feel more of a desire of being deep in nature, so I welcome this opportunity to do just that.
THERE WILL BE NO TUESDAY CLASS ON 15 OCTOBER as my beautiful friend is taking me to Lisbon for a late 50th birthday gift - feeling blessed for this mini adventure with a friend i deeply love.I also wanted to let you know of two workshops I'm holding which I'm very excited about.
We will be celebrating The honouring of our ancestors on the actual day of the dead the 2nd of November in the beautiful space of the Glade. It will be holding space with the incredible local artist Emma Carter - she is the most beautiful being that shares a deep beauty of creativity.
Â
The workshop is on the actual day of the dead the 2nd of November in the beautiful space of the Glade. It will be a day of nature connection, fires, sharing circles, journalling, somatic movement and a beautiful healthy lunch. Please see the flyer for details.Below I have put a link into a Podcast that I found very interesting this week.  Entitled we are all going to die it's an incredible podcast that dives into the depths of grief and death but it has a really beautiful slant with interesting philosophy and ideas.
I very much enjoyed listening to it and I hope you do too. Â In our western worlds, we are not taught to deal with grief and I feel sitting in circle and sharing is so needed so please take the time to listen as I know each one of us has been dealt the card of losing people we love.
I am also holding a winter wellness retreat day on Saturday, the 30th of November.  A treat before Christmas to help you deal with the busy-ness and stress of this seasonal time. It's so important for us to nurture ourselves, so we are able to nurture others.Drop into yourself on this slow & restful day retreat involving contemplation, yoga with breathwork and meditation designed to restore your inner peace. We will be using sacred oils to give ourselves a beautiful yogic facial  and journalling to welcome in this new season. We'll finish with winter treats and tea.Escape the hustle and bustle and the busyness of Christmas craziness  and join me for a rejuvenating mini retreat day where we will be surrounded by candles, twinkling lights and smell of sandalwood and cinnamon. This is your chance to disconnect from the world and reconnect with yourself and others before moving into a time that can sometimes feel overwhelming and overindulgent.Â
Rebalance and restore before the celebrations begin.....I'm always here for you. I feel so grateful to share my love of yoga, nature and life with you.Being exactly who you areBeing here.Being peaceful.Being true.Being tender.
I have deepened in my practice more recently and practicing each morning as i wake. Â It really helps me deal with the highs and lows of life. My teacher says there will always be these and yoga allows us to accept and be with both as best we can. I truly believe I couldn't live without it.
Â
I hope you have a beautiful blessed October my loves. Thank you for being in my life.Â
Â
Love alwaysÂ
